List of Approved Live Training

Washington Certification Services maintains a list of live training activities that have been submitted for CEU assignment by the trainer and approved for CEUs towards the Waterworks professional growth requirement in Washington. The approved list shows all live training that has an active CEU assignment. Use the links above to view and sort the approved list.

Training Schedule

CEU assignments for approved training are valid for 3 years. Some courses on this list may be offered by the sponsor more than one time over a 3-year period. Others, such as conferences, may have been scheduled only once. It is recommended the operator contact the trainer directly to learn about their training schedule.

Operators can also visit http://wateroperator.org/calendar to discover upcoming training. Washington Certification Services and Department of Health are not affiliated with WaterOperator.org or their calendar and it may not be a complete list of available trainings; but we have encouraged Washington trainers to keep WaterOperator.org updated.

CEU Amount

The "CEU" column indicates the amount of CEUs the operator will earn upon successful completion of the training.

CEU for multi-session conferences is listed in the table as zero (0). CEU will be awarded by the trainer based on the approved sessions a water works operator attends. It is recommended the operator keep a copy of their stamped CEU card or other documentation that conveys the sessions they completed.

Operators risk earning half or no CEU credit for repeating the same training. More information on Washington’s repeat course policy can be found in the Professional Growth Requirement section of the web page.

CEU Recording

It is the trainer’s responsibility to submit training completion documentation on behalf of the operator to Washington Certification Services. Training completed that is not found on the approved list must be submitted by the operator. More information on the operator submittal process can be found in the Professional Growth Requirement section of the web page.

Self-Paced Training

Self-Paced Training differs from Live Training as it is defined as independent, unmonitored learning. Visit the Self-Paced Training section of the web page for a list of approved Self-Paced Training and for special Self-Paced Training completion instructions and forms.
